A LITTLE ABOUT
ME
A LITTLE ABOUT
ME
I'M SOOGI
CHOI
AND I'M UX
PRODUCT DESIGNER
I'm Soogi [su:gi], a designer and a good team player who likes learning about users and my team and supporting both sides in a dynamic environment.
As a mission-driven product designer, I've enjoyed designing impactful solutions, including streamlining clinicians' experience on their travel assignments, closing educational gaps in Kenya, and protecting Alaskan salmons.
My design processes involve analyzing actual data, solving fundamental problems, fighting for 1px for design consistency and big picture, and dreaming of saving the world.
Before UX, I was a fashion merchandiser (like a product manager in fashion), leading projects from concept to completion with cross-functional international teams that never sleep 24/7. That's where I learned how to collaborate, manage time, and prevent edge cases for everyone's sanity.

As a UX

Product Designer

I've designed for good causes

and helped traveling nurses, Kenyan teachers and Alaskan Salmons.
