About me - Soogi Choi ✺ UX/Product Designer

I'm Soogi, a designer and a good team player who likes learning about users and my team and supporting both sides in a dynamic environment.

As a UX/Product Designer, I've been designing impactful solutions that address critical issues like climate change and educational gaps.

Before UX, I was a fashion merchandiser for 7 years. (It was like a product manager in fashion...but a lot more hats!) I thrived in fast-paced, and cost-sensitive environments, leading projects from concept to completion with cross-functional teams.

Before UX, I worked in a fast-paced and 0-error-standard fashion industry in three countries and collaborated with renowned brands like

Zara, Banana Republic, Gap, Calvin Klein, and Tommy Hilfiger

I'm an explorer at heart, always curious about the world, which keeps me creatively inspired.

I’m a PADI divemaster.

71% of the earth is covered by water. I must travel that part to claim world traveler.

I brew beer at home.

Did I tell you that my major at college was food science and engineering?

I was an award-winning kid as a website publisher.

and had a passion for coding and web designing from a young age.

I've lived and worked in three countries

which are Canada, New Zealand, and the US.

I was a round-the-world traveler

and I’ve traveled 30+ countries & 6 continents.
